I recently came across a site called Ghosts of America. This site actually lists individual hauntings in various parts of the United States, submitted by readers. Specifically, I was looking for a haunted house in Corning, New York, which recently appeared on the television show, “A Haunting.” Supposedly this house is on Spencer Hill, but I haven’t located it yet in town.
If anyone knows the address of the haunted house from the show, drop us a line. There are quite a few houses for sale in that area- perhaps it is once again up for sale.
Hauntingly yours,
Charlotte

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting author Mark Nesbitt. I had traveled to Gettysburg, PA to take a trip on their new Ghost Train (Pioneer Lines Scenic Railway). My trip on the train coincided with his book signing, also at the railway.
Mr. Nesbitt has written a series of books, Ghosts of Gettysburg. I had purchased books from this series on previous trips to Gettysburg, but what an unexpected surprise to meet this author! He was very congenial and signed my latest acquisition, Ghosts of Gettysburg VI: Spirits, Apparitions and Haunted Places of the Battlefield. We spoke briefly, and he told me that he was leaving all of his notes and stories to the Adams County Historical Society. (Let’s hope nothing happens to him soon!). This was one of the rare occasions that I’ve had a book signed and wasn’t shooed off immediately by a “author handler.” If you ever have the chance to meet this charming author, you won’t be disappointed!
By the way, I was on the first trip ever for their new Ghost Train. If you have time when you visit Gettysburg, take a trip on this railway (ghost train, mystery train or whichever other trip you choose). It is very comfortable, the guides are fun and informative and you may learn a little about the local countryside, and of course, ghosts.

Today’s shout out goes to Syracuse Ghost Hunters in New York. There apparently is more going on in this town and surrounding area than S.U.s quest for men’s college basketball supremacy.
That being said, this group promises to keep your ghost investigation confidential and strictly scientific. There is no charge for their services. Their goal is to get photographic evidence of a haunting, so hopefully your ghosts are photogenic! Drop them an email (serious inquiries only!) by filling out the form on their website.
Happy Ghost Hunting!
